Bitcoin edges up to $64,416 as breadth turns broadly green

Bitcoin held above $64,400 on July 26, up 0.6% over the past day, while Ethereum outpaced it with a 1.4% gain. It was a quietly constructive session rather than a dramatic one, with price action doing enough to keep the broader mood upbeat without any single headline number standing out.

The real story was breadth. Of the top 100 coins tracked, 76 were in the green and just 23 were down, a ratio that points to a market moving together rather than being carried by one or two large caps. That kind of participation tends to matter more to traders than any single coin's move.

At the extremes, Shiba Inu ripped 36.3% higher to lead the gainers table, while DeXe was the day's worst performer, down 38.9%. Big divergences like that are a reminder that even on a broadly positive day, individual tokens can swing hard in either direction.
